Our hospital offers the most modern innovation in X-ray technology. Digital radiography presents our doctors with much clearer images than were available with previous X-ray imaging. This also means our doctors can find issues that they not have been able to find before. Digital imaging allows our doctors to manipulate the images, limiting the possibility that retakes or additional shots that need to be taken which exposes your pet to less radiation. When we think of x-rays we immediately think of broken bones, but many health issues can be diagnosed using x-ray technology. Heart size, pneumonia, foreign objects and even cancer can be detected through x-ray.
