Microchipping
In the past, becoming separated from your pet often meant not being able to find them. Microchipping is a form of permanent identification which reunites people and their furry friends every day, and is available at Hazel Green Animal Hospital. A microchip the size of a grain of rice is inserted under the skin of your pet with an identification number. In the event your pet is lost, most veterinary clinics and shelters have microchip readers which can identify your pet and greatly increase the likelihood of getting them back home to you. If you have a pet without a microchip, please call the compassionate staff at Hazel Green to have your pet microchipped today!
